What to expect when you reach a provider

How Our Network Works

Request an estimate to get started

Who you talk to

You talk to an independent local provider. That is a real business that does concrete work in your area. Millionpatient Concrete is the introduction, not the contractor. We keep the process simple so you can focus on your project.

What happens on the first conversation

Expect a relaxed chat. The provider will usually ask what you want to build, how big the space is, and what the ground and drainage are like. They may ask for photos. Many also like to visit in person before giving a firm price, because a yard can look different once someone stands in it.

Have a few things ready:

  • The rough size of the driveway or patio
  • Where water collects after rain
  • Any slopes, trees or tight access
  • The look you want, such as plain broom finish or stamped pattern

What to ask an independent provider

Good questions are a smart tool for any homeowner. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured for this kind of work?
  • How do you prepare the base and handle drainage?
  • What thickness and reinforcement do you plan to use?
  • How long before I can walk or drive on it?
  • Will you put the quote and timeline in writing?

Also ask how they protect your lawn, walkways and crawl space vents during the job. Give it time to cure, and ask what care the new surface needs in a wet season.

You are in control

You can talk to more than one provider. You can say no. You can take a few days to think. A good provider will not rush you, and costs vary by job, so a written quote matters.
